Brasted Parish Council provides local administration to the Civil Parish of Brasted, which is centred on the village of the same name in the Sevenoaks District of Kent. It lies on the A25, between Westerham to the west and Sundridge to the east and is 4 miles from Sevenoaks town. The village includes many listed buildings in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Parish also includes the hamlets of Brasted Chart and Toys Hill. National Trust owned woodland at Toys Hill extends to over 200 acres and the hamlet has outstanding views of the Weald. The Octavia Hill bunkhouse in Brasted Chart is also owned by the National Trust and is set in around 80 acres forming part of the large Toys Hill Estate.
